Meet the New Global Networks Director, Dr. Elliott Gougeon

Dr. Elliott Gougeon is the new director of Global Networks at GeoBlue. Elliott began his career as a German instructor and has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Elon University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He spent many years living in Bonn, Germany, studying and writing his dissertation on Middle Low German nominal syntax.

Elliott joined GeoBlue in 2014 as a specialist with the Global Health and Safety (GHS) team, managing cases for expat, student and individual members then became a supervisor in 2016. He then moved to a specialist role in international compliance in 2017, where he worked closely with our partner, Bupa Global. In 2019, Elliott began managing GeoBlue assistance vendors as well, such as those who provide the aircraft for evacuations or who assist with arranging direct settlement for our members.

In his free time, Elliott likes to read, cook and do projects around the house. He also loves to spend time with his dog, Benji, and his two nieces and two nephews whenever possible.
